Eureka Coffee’s Retail Store and Espresso Bar - 332 St Georges Road, Fitzroy North
Posted in Uncategorized on 04/28/2005 10:47 pm by Peter ChristoMy 15-month-old daughter and I ventured out of the normal zone of coffeeness in the Melbourne CBD and accepted an invite to check out the coffee at Eureka in Nth Fitzroy. I mentioned Eureka in another review and it was suggested that my comments were not indicative of the quality of coffee I should expect from them. We’ll no doubt, the Eureka Coffee Shop serves up a killer brew. I tried the Long Macchiato and a Latte (Soy). Certainly the service was great and it was a groovy environment for the sophisticated coffee drinkers in that part of town. No doubt a 2 beaner!!
It still laves me wondering though, how much of the quality coffee experience is the bean, the way its roasted, the way its prepared by the barista, and the love in the heart of he said barista?

a SOY latte? You can’t run a coffee site and drink SOY latters dude. That’s like running… oh I don’t know… a BMW dealership and riding a vespa to get to work! Zero cred.

Hey - great website guys….any chance you could add a search engine enabling lookup by place, location or number of beans ???
