The Melbourne Coffee Review

Melbourne has some of the grooviest places to have a coffee. But where is the best coffee? I've had coffee's across the globe, but to be sure, here in the CBD of Melbourne (Australia) we are a bunch of coffee snobs (especially in Collins Street), and do not suffer bad coffee well. 1 bean = bloody worth looking up, 2 beans = something extra ordinary here. 3 Beans = close to sex. These are my reviews for them that give a bean!! Peter Christo [Enquiries +61(0)412133363]

MCR Goes Greek

Howdy all. I'm currently doing it tough on Mykonos, Greece, ensuring the coffee here is up to scratch. So far I have two worthy mentions: Fros, in Mykonos itself that kick ass in the Fredo (cold coffee, its an esspresso frape for the Greeks out there) department, and: Anixi near Ornos the picturesque cove we are living in (make a giant latte). More when I get in front of a proper screen. BTW. Vodafone rocks in Greece. I have 5X5 comms and fast interet off my treo here all over the country.

Fashion Week

I’m involved with an online retail venture and so was invited to the Fashion show this week at Jeff’s Shed, the last place I thought I would be discussing coffee, but, behold, one of the software vendors to the rag trade hooked coffee drinking with their software and beautiful girls. All in all the coffee was at best described as ok, on all fronts. Better than the swill normally associated with these types of things. And yes, there were beautiful clothes, and beautiful women along with many old rag traders from 1000 years ago.

Caffe Duomo Ristorante & Bar - The Block Arcade Melbourne Australia

Had a quick coffee here with an entrepreneur buddy of mine after scoffing ourselves with Yum Cha. I’ve had coffee here a few times and always found it too busy. However, off peak, the coffee is descent, good temperature, no bitterness and killer coffee art. Solid one beaner.
