The Melbourne Coffee Review

Melbourne has some of the grooviest places to have a coffee. But where is the best coffee? Here in the CBD of Melbourne (Australia) we are a bunch of coffee snobs (especially in Collins Street), and do not suffer bad coffee well. 1 bean = bloody worth looking up, 2 beans = something extra ordinary here. 3 Beans = close to sex. These are my reviews for them that give a bean!! [Bus Enq +61(0)4121 33363, HotShot Enq Call Steve Agi on +61(0)43221 0963]

St Ali's Coffee is definitely worth the hike if you visiting Melbourne and just a short tram ride from the CBD.

Does anyone know what coffee blend they use?

Their other branch in Little Collins street - Brother Baba Bhudan - does a pretty orgasmic cup as well!

When I first had a coffee at St Ali a few months back it completely blew my mind. "Wow, what have i been drinking lately?!" This is what real coffee should taste like. My standards became a lot higher from that day. Whoever the guy is who makes coffee on saturday mornings is a genius.

Their green beans are sourced throughout the globe and roasted in 5kg quantities. I tried to espresso blend and it was silky smooth with no harse after taste, however the tempreture was a little cooler than I liked. It wasn't hot enough to sit on it for 5 mins...I vertually skulled it. Keep up the good work...PS the artistic presentation of the coffee is world class. Jamie D
