What a discovery! I love nothing better than driving around looking for cafes and drinking coffees, because you come across places like this.
Bruno out at C4 is a one man show. He runs the specialty roasting business and out of the same warehouse sells his coffee, discretely and confidently.
I recommend this place to everyone, both to buy beans as well as to have an amazing cup of coffee.
It’s not really a café, as such, more of a warehouse, but he does have an espresso machine, which if you ask nicely he’ll let you use and make your own, if you dare.
As well as a bar where you can sit and sip the devil’s cup as it was meant to be drunk, in true Italian Espresso Bar style.
The coffee presented is second to none, and believe me, I’ve had my fair share of coffees around Melbourne and what Bruno is doing out there is absolutely amazing, quite innovative and groundbreaking.
In fact by his own admission he’s breaking all the rules and turning convention on its head, and it shows, it comes across in every sip, every delicious mouthful of the coffee he prepares and serves, while he tells you another story about his coffee roasting techniques and just what is wrong with the coffee being served to the masses around Melbourne.
“Remember if coffee isn’t a memorable experience, it’s not worth the journey.”
And you know what, he’s right!

He’s there 5 days a week from 8ish until 2, any other time by appointment, closed on weekends.

I agree 100%. Came across C4 by accident and glad I did. I have been drinking the Purple blend. As an espresso it has a complexity and flavour journey found in few others.

I’ve been going to Bruno for about 2 years (presently on the red blend). I use to be in “the biz” and wish I knew him then, as the coffee is, to quote the review..second to none, but he’ll even make exactly how you like by mixing a bit of this with a bith of that, and then make it look like your own brand, so people who like the cafe’s coffee can buy the cafe’s OWN BRAND….how good is that. glad to see he’s no longer a secret
I have tried many of Bruno’s special blends and have enjoyed them all. It was only a matter of time before the word got out about his magnificant coffee.

Yes I agree, Bruno’s coffee is the one and only, can’t drink any other.
When I make coffee at work half the staff levitate over to the kitchen area, drawn like magnets to the wonderful aroma.

I have found C4 coffee has to be the best in the world not just Melb. With the Italian experience that Bruno has in the business. He has the best coffee in town. If you require a top niche coffee supplier for your company/cafe I can highly recommend his services. He will never let you done in business.
I first experienced Bruno’s coffee by undergoing a three hour one on one tutorial of coffee with him. Then came the task of making coffee under his direction. Have not looked back and never buy anything else. Currently hooked on Purple

I find it hard to drink anything else now. And buying it is always an enjoyable experience, too.
I found out about C4coffee by accident, when my son in law had a business opposite – and I’m glad I did! I have never had better service than from Bruno, and his Swiss water decaf is out of this world. All my friends (those lucky enough to be offered ‘real’ coffee) rave about it, and can’t believe that it’s decaf -the flavour is superb. Brigitte.

I adore coffee but drinking it often left with me with stomach pains or feeling ill. I had tried to give it up several times. Then I met Bruno and he played around with blends until we created one that I loved the taste of and was able to drink without feeling ill or being in pain. Woohoo! Bruno is the best at what he does, everyone should be so lucky as to taste his brew
We at Commercial Food Machinery believe Bruno’s coffee is by far the best coffee we have ever had, (and a few of us have had a few..)
This is why we would not drink any other, and congratulate C4 on it’s fantastic eforts.
