Man I was soooo hungry as I entered this promising food court, I was almost delirious, stop it I thought to myself you don’t need food, remember the old saying: “man does not live on bread alone” it is coffee you need you fool, YES! Another coffee!
Eureka!!
Looking around, this quaint little sandwich bar caught my eye, grabbed my attention, NASHI, what a curious name, Genovese, what a glorious possibility!
I ordered an espresso and was impressed with the meticulous care of the barista, poetry in motion, the extraction was perfect the crema rich and dense the flavors spectacular, they covered my palate adequately with a strong finish.
By now the mere thought of food was a distant memory, all I could think of was the chaser; “double shot latte, please” I drooled, and could instantly tell by the sweet sounds of the steam wand immersed in the milk that I was in for more of the same……and living up to my expectation I was not disappointed, the 3 T’s were spot on: Texture. Temperature, Taste:
Coffee: Genovese
p.s. Cool photo huh?!?!? I did have a delicious lunch there after all ;o)

First off – I’ve been working in the Building for 2 years and I’m a regular at Nashi – not once have I seen a sandwich that resembles anything like the photo provided in this review.
The Coffee at Nashi isn’t too bad – 2 stars is extremely generous. The baristas are ok, but you can’t get a consistant cup there which is due to the machine not being regularly used (ie. water pressure too low). I give it half a star.
Hey George, come on mate! you gotta give it to ‘em, the sandwiches look great and the coffee is spot on, they really do give their all there, Sam Nash is a tough man and his standards are incredibly high….even I was impressed and I get around…….
Keep on Caffeining on dude!!!
the CaFFiend!!!
