28 Elizabeth st
Melbourne CBD VIC 3000

It’s been a couple of years, and a bit, since we first tried out this place and honestly, if you blinked walking by you’d miss it, and in doing so would really miss the chance to take a sip from the Devil’s Cup from one of Melbourne’s better destinations.
A mere nook in bustling Elizabeth St, tucked away in the foyer of a building, this master barista is pulling some of Melbourne’s finest Espresso shots.
Too watch him in action is a pleasure, to partake of his nectar of the Gods, almost sinful.
I mean coffee this good must be bad!
I ordered a ristretto looking for that illy magic and boy did I find it, a thick and dense crema concealed 15mls of pure delight. Extracted perfectly, adequately doing justice to the world class and globally recognized branding that was on display.
Following it up with a café latte I was intrigued to notice that there was a wall dedicated to the day’s star signs and weather details for customers to read while their coffee was being prepared. Now that’s customer service, that’s what I’m talking about!!!
My café latte was incredible, perfect temperature and mouthfeel, perfect fusion of the espresso and the milk, perfect service, perfect place.
Highly recommended you give it a try next time you’re in town, just down from Finders St and a BIG 2 beaner here team caffeine…another qualifier into the Best of the Best that Melbourne has to offer, and for all our HOTSHOT cafes checkout:

Till next time, keep on caffeining on…….The CaFFiend!!!

The great thing about this place is you CAN run to the Elizabeth street trams in under 3 seconds.

    LOVE IT!
