It has finally happened; I have crossed over to the other side.
The CaFFiend has traversed the impassable passé, the gateway to the WILD WILD WEST.
Out to Yarraville in search my next caffeine hit, to find the BEST of the WEST, and boy was I glad I did, WOW!
Double WOW!
This humble little corner store, is just the right place to kick back, relax and enjoy a lazy afternoon with a mate, or a pristine breakfast with your family. Plenty of smiles and vibe, heaps of helpful staff and coffee in abundance. Serving up some of Supreme’s finest, Ian and his team really know just how important a great cup of coffee is. I ask for a ristretto and I get just that. 20 or so mls of pure nectar, a truly sublime experience. I follow it up with something a bit different, a ¾ café latte and boy oh boy, was it exactly what the doctor ordered. I devilishly good brew that really set things up for a brilliant afternoon. The interaction of perfectly textured milk and espresso were faultless, really blending effortlessly to create a harmonious unison, made in heaven.
The CaFFiend was uber-impressed, not only awarding 3 BIG BEANS to the team at the Cornershop, but also driving back out 3 hours later for another caffeine hit. YES!!! It was THAT good!!! 
Go down and check it out, you won’t be sorry………

HA! So, you crossed to the the wild wild West? Glad you could handle the 7kms, and 10 minute drive!
Yes we do have great coffee (thank you), but SSShhhhh don’t tell everyone! We like to keep our little oasis of cool cafe’s, wonderful service, awesome live music, groovey fashion stores, cute home stores, and our gourgeous Art Deco Sun Theatre, all a SECRET (ssshhhhhhh!!)
I had to be over in the dark side today so consulted my trusty MCR to see what was on offer and came up with this gem.I wished I could have stayed longer as the food looked brilliant but I made do with killer carrot cake and a knock your socks off flat white.It was so good i grabbed a takeaway.I will definitely be back and will bring the family too as was child friendly.As usual when I get a good coffee I let the barista know that their skills are appreciated.

[...] saying something. A decent decaf is ridiculously hard to find. The best by a long shot is from Cornershop in Yarraville, who do THE best soy decaf (with the almighty Bon Soy as the soy milk du jour) ever. [...]
As promised I ventured back and this time had the family in tow.It was a bit of a squeeze getting a stroller in as the place was busy, however the friendly waitress helped us out as did a couple of customers.Once ensconced in our seat we both ordered pides, I had the roast chicken and the better half had the beetroot.These were washed down with a flat white and a soy flat white which were so good that we both got takeaways for the journey back from the wild and woolly west.
