A couple of doors down from Pelegrini’s is a place is a very well thought out, stylish and somewhat inviting cafe cum Jewellery shop? (I am assuming). It seems to be an all lady affair and the promise of something special is certainly in the air.

I am generally sceptical about hip and groovy gals at the helm of an espresso machine, and unfortunately I was right. Don’t get me wrong, this is an appealing place, but the coffee was ok, but not great. My long macc was watery and muddy. It tasted just ok to drink, so my guess is the mojo is out today (I just sensed that all was not happiness) or this is a broader issue.

Certainly not a hopeless case. Someone just needs to tweak up the coffee skills and away you go. The actual coffee taste was ok, the machine was a manual machine which looks pretty serious. Don’t write these guys off, worth a visit. I’ll be back!
