Reality check, cafes open, cafes close. Cafe’s change owners, coffee, baristas and so it goes. On occasion a change in ownership is a death blow to the expectations of coffee lovers who patronise a cafe. Not the case it seems with 7 Grams ‘Reloaded’. George and his partner seem to have just as much joy fulfilling the caffeine needs of the Church Street groove workers, as Jim, Con and Peter did.

I snuck in this morning, and squeezed through the frenzy to secure a place on the wall bench. My long macchiatto was well presented and quickly delivered. The coffee was probably a little hot for my taste but nevertheless a good clean and vibrant taste. Guys, you keep your HotShot status and good luck in making the top 100.
