After a good nights rest we headed into Dunsbourough in need of some breakfast and discovered Artezen opposite the legendary Dunsborough Bakery.

Artezen is a popular and spacious cafe with polished concrete floors,  stainless steel with a lively bright ambiance.

Our ample servings of sourdough toast served with lashings of butter, berry conserve and marmalade hit the spot and the breakfasts going out to other diners looked delicious with the aroma of bacon and fresh coffee filling one’s senses. A popular Perth breakfast radio identity and his family were enjoying their breakfast at the table opposite us and sounded as though they were regulars.

A short mach, latte and flat white were ordered for our table, my mach was an ideal temperature, mid-bodied with a pleasant lingering aftertaste, the latte and flat white were given full marks for presentation, temperature was good and the coffee cut through the milk nicely, we had smiling faces all round.

Coffee was a PNG single origin from Five Senses

Artezen was an enjoyable experience with great decor, food and coffee. Things are lookin’ good “Down South”!! A monsoon malabar sized one beaner for these guys.

PS: Sorry for lack of pix–left my camera at hotel!!!
